🧐The ancient Egyptians' mummification rituals lasted approximately seventy days.😲
The pivotal step in the mummification process was to harden the dead body and rid it of fluids by placing it in natron salt after removing the entrails to prevent rapid decomposition.🤔
The mummification process also involved coating the body inside and out with various types of gums, resins, fats and oils.😵‍

😍The Cemetery of Sinnefer, famous for its Grape Cemetery😍
One of the most beautiful and impressive Egyptian cemeteries due to the presence of the first 3D purification innovations in it and also its roofing with eye-catching views of grapes.👏
It is located in the area of the Tombs of the Nobles on the western side of Luxor.
To this day, it still maintains its beautiful distinctive colors and patterns that arouse curiosity and admiration among those who visit it.🤗
Its construction dates back to the period of the New Kingdom, and it was built specifically for the ruler of Thebes during the reign of King Amenhotep II “Snefer.” 🫅

Egyptians love to make "ma7shi" with the ultimate combination being white eggplants (when in season), small peppers, and zucchinis.
It is by far the most common dish in Egypt and the Middle East along with the Koshari . It is an inexpensive meal - if you did not serve meat with it- so it is eaten by the poor and the rich in Egypt.

🥳Graeco-Roman museum in Alexandria after renovations🥳
The museum houses 10,000 artifacts that date back from the fifth century BC, an era before Alexander the Great, to the Byzantine Empire in the sixth century.
The restoration process involved adding new sections to the museum to attract more visitors and highlight the intellectual and artistic amalgam of ancient Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Coptic and Byzantine civilizations.

Koshari is a traditional Egyptian food.
It is a hearty vegan meal made with lentil rice, pasta, chickpeas, vinegar tomato sauce, and topped with crispy thin fried onion rings.
Koshary is high in carbohydrates and protein so this makes it an ideal meal for athletes. It also has lentils which are great for fiber intake while the tomato sauce provides a good amount of Vitamin C – making koshary perfect to eat when you're on the go or after doing some exercise.

Why is Abu Simbel so special?
The Abu Simbel temple was constructed as a place for people to worship Pharaoh Ramses II as a god following his death, as well as to be a show of power toward the recently conquered territory of Nubia. The most notable feature of the Abu Simbel temple are the four colossal statues of Ramses II on the outside. Another unique feature is that twice per year, currently on February 21 and October 21, the first rays of the morning sun align with the temple to illuminate the back wall and statues of the gods.

The screaming mummy
• The mummy in the picture is of Prince (Pentaor), who, along with his mother (Ti), hatched a plot recorded in a papyrus called the “Harem Conspiracy” to kill his father, King Ramesses III.
• The papyrus also recorded that the conspirators were arrested and he and those with him were sentenced to torture to death by 15 judges.
• The mummy was not wrapped in luxurious white linen as usual with other mummies, but rather it was wrapped in goat skin to degrade it.
• His hands and feet were tied with leather ropes
• He was not mummified at all, but was merely dried in natron salt and then poured resin into his open mouth.

The moment of discovery and extraction of Yuya's coffin in 1905 from his tomb in the Valley of the Kings, western Luxor, by an Italian excavation mission.
Which was working in the Valley of the Kings and Deir el-Medina
The importance of this cemetery stems from the fact that it is the cemetery of a nobleman and not of a king, and the thieves did not reach it, so it remained with all its riches left to us by that great Yuya and his wife, Toya.
Yuya's mummy was found inside three coffins, one inside the other, in addition to the coffin of his wife, Toya, bearing an exquisitely made mask, a number of statues, utensils, wooden chairs, two beds, and a chariot, all of which are preserved in the Egyptian Museum.

Tombs of Nobles
During ancient times the city of Aswan was much different. People in that period used to live around Elephantine Island, which is also where the rulers ‎and kings of Nubia resided. ‎This was why the tombs of the kings and the royal family of Nubia were located near ‎the island of Elephantine in what is called today the Tombs of the Nobles of Aswan.‎
