Temple of King Ramesses II / Abydos / Sohag❤️🇪🇬

The funerary temple of King Ramesses II in Abydos.
Built by King Ramesses II of the Nineteenth Dynasty (1303–1213 BC)
Abydos is an ancient sacred city in Egypt located 70 km northwest of Thebes.
The Temple of King Ramesses II is located 300 meters from the temple of his father (on the left), the Temple of King Seti I.
The temple is demolished and there are remains in it
Today the height of the temple walls does not exceed seven meters.
A massive black granite door allows passage from the portico to the first hypostyle room.
