November, December and January is a great time to visit Malaga. Flights are inexpensive and it’s perfectly mild enough to sit outdoors for dining al fresco at lunchtime.

The weather is superb for walking, cycling and sightseeing.

Christmas starts here at the end of November when the Malaga lights are lit. This is a fantastic show and most definitely worth seeing. Malaga also has its own Christmas market which is very festive not forgetting the beautiful Christmas tree in the main square.

January 5th there is the parade of the 3 Kings. This is the real Christmas Eve for the Spanish people as 3 Kings day on the 6th is the day when presents are given.

There is some availability left for November, and December. New year going into January is available.

Relax with a glass of vino next to our log burner. We are taking bookings for 2025.

October is an excellent month in which to visit Malaga.

The crowds have thinned, the weather is pleasantly warm, and the fall colors start to appear. It’s an ideal time to experience what Andalucia has to offer.

Our wood delivery arrived in good time for the cooler evenings yet to come. Nothing is more cosy than lighting the log burner and settling down to watch a beautiful sunset with a glass of wine

A beautiful day spent yesterday at El Chorro Lakes. Even though the lakes aren’t as high as previous years because of the drought we still enjoyed a perfect day kayaking and a trip out on one of the lakes pedalos. This is a fantastic family day location with shade, picnic benches and easy car parking. The Caminto del Rey is less than 10 minutes from here so you can combine the two in a day

If you haven’t taken a trip to Parque de las Ciencias in Granada you need to buy tickets and go! A trip to Granada and a visit to the Science Museum, the first interactive museum in Andalusia where everything is designed for learning through interaction and discovery from a very early age.
