Enjera is a traditional Ethiopian food made from the grain teff. It is a staple food in Ethiopia, eaten with almost every meal.

Enjera is made from teff flour, yeast, water, and salt. The dough is left to ferment overnight and then shaped into rounds. They are cooked on a griddle over an open fire until slightly charred on the outside but still soft and chewy inside.

The word "enjera" comes from the root word "nagash", which means "to wrap". This refers to how enjera is wrapped in a cloth while they are being cooked over an open fire pit or stovetop flame.

The Omo Valley tribes are a group of indigenous tribes that live in the Omo River Valley. These tribes include the Karo, Kwegu, Nyangatom, and Mursi.

The tribes in the Omo valley have been living there for many centuries without any contact with Westerners until they were contacted by Christian missionaries in the 1950s. They have a hunter-gatherer lifestyle and have traditionally lived off of wild animals, honey, maize, and sorghum that they cultivate themselves.

The Omo Valley tribes are one of the most ancient cultures still alive today with their culture dating back to 10,000 years ago.

Lalibela is a town in the Ethiopian Highlands, and it is one of the holiest cities in Ethiopia.

The town of Lalibela was built during the reign of King Lalibela, who was also known as King David I. It is believed that he ruled from around 1200 AD to 1268 AD. He had the idea for the town after a vision he had about Jerusalem, which was called “The New Jerusalem”.

The basilicas of Lalibela are carved from living rock from inside a mountain range that surrounds them on three sides. The churches were carved by hand and they are thought to have taken over 30 years to complete.
