Mellon Udrigle once again has given us some fantastic sunshine and great sunsets in May.

We have also had the big Aurora event with everyone posting unbelievable photos. Also making its annual return the very vocal cuckoo.

With June just round the corner and the sea warming up, we have high hopes that some of our guests will spot dolphins and maybe even a whale and if they’re up early enough they might even catch a sight of our resident otter family!

Well we have had some visitors to the beach this week some red deer hyndes made an appearance at 5am.

We think the spring grass has tempted them down to Mellon.

A quick walk to the point. 6th January and ‘‘its like a spring day

After a short trip up to the Cabin for some essential work, well that’s what I told Heather. I Realised that there isn’t a month in the year I haven’t spent some time in this spectacular corner of the Country . I feel Very privileged and I can honestly say every month has its own charms

Hi all when We were up at the cabin about 10 days ago now. We had one of Those days that will last in my memory for ever , flat calm seas and clear skies. And as we sat on the headland a pod of common Dolphins 30 to 50 strong swam by. And if that wasn't enough up popped the otter just in front of us, we didn't know where to look. As per normal didn't have my big camera so did my best with my phone hope you enjoy
