After all the alterations etc we have now been able to make the king-size bedroom into a family room with a new single bed both top of the range beds from Staples at Bensons. So we now sleep 3 people. Look forward to welcoming my guests to these lovely rooms, Fiona

WHOHOO we have now been issued with our Short Term Licence from West Dunbartonshire Council for The Cottage and Apartment there has been a lot of work involved but we are now sorted and so relieved. Looking forward to meeting our many guests in the near future. Fiona and David

Due to new regulations for self catering in Scotland we have had to alter the bedrooms in the Apartment. To gain our licence we have had to lose the single bedroom and replaced with a dressing room. The bedroom now has a king size bed and the two rooms have been completely refurbished and upgraded. We have a single folding bed if required which can be accommodated in the dressing room. Hope you like the new layout and look forward to welcoming my lovely guests.

Well Spring has arrived at The Old Smiddy as our ducks have arrived back and taken up residence for a few months in Ballagan burn, they have been coming to the Smiddy for years now and come and knock the door if we are too slow to go out and feed them.
