Location of this property could not be any better, literally a stones throw from Ward park which has a chain of small lakes providing wildfowl sanctuary with many interesting specimens and dry pens containing a large variety of exotic birds. Free live music at the Bandstand takes place every Sunday in July and August, 3pm-5pm, as part of the annual Open House Festival. Please phone for further information.
Ward Park has also hosted a number of open air concerts at the Ward Arras side of the Park bringing in International artists including homegrown talent Snow Patrol. Its a five minute walk to main street/high street offering multiple coffee shops, restaurants and bars (most of which frequently have live music).
If you wish to explore more of the surrounding area or Northern Ireland there are great road links to Belfast 12 miles, Newtownards 5 miles and further afield the Giants causeway is 70 miles and Dublin 115 Miles (approx. 2.5 hrs)
