Have you noticed we are puffin mad!? 😆
A boat trip to Puffin Island is a wonderful way to spend a few relaxing hours whilst you’re at Simdda Wen! Daily trips set off from Beaumaris which is only a 5 minute drive from the cottage!
Inhabited by not only puffins but also a variety of other birds you may also spot some of the Grey seals who love to sunbathe on the rocks!!

“We’ve just come back from our first stay at Simdda Wen, and already can’t wait to go back. It’s an extremely tranquil and beautiful location (close by car to Beaumaris)
The house whilst old is bright and welcoming.
The garden is in a cottage style which is stunning with the gentle hum of bees and lots of places to sit out and unwind. It was secure for our whippet who loved lounging on the grass.
We walked to the beach and also the short uphill walk for the panoramic views.
We hope to return.”

Newborough Beach is stunning - miles of soft sandy beaches just 30mins from Simdda Wen!
And the forest hides 100 Red Squirrels 🐿️ among its trees 🥰 A place to spend all day enjoying the wonder of nature🐿️

White Beach - a true hidden gem of a pebble cove is a 15 minute stroll down a pretty winding Welsh lane directly from the door of our cottage!
An absolute must visit for all our guests - and it’s obviously dog friendly all year round too!
