Family History Tours is currently organising family history related tours of India

Family History Tours Ltd was set up in 2007 in order to co-ordinate a holiday to India for the members and friends of The Families in British India Society www.fibis.org. This first tour was entitled "India Mutiny Tour" as it followed the route of the Indian Mutiny (or First War of Independence) that took place in 1857. The participants were able to visit churches, graveyards, cantonments and othe

r sites that their ancestors had been involved with. Now we are co-ordinating three more Family History trips to India in 2015 with Indus Experiences (details on the website www.familyhistorytours.wordpress.com ). If any other society would like me to co-ordinate their Family History tours, please contact me.

As a Trustee of FIBIS my current position is to organise the Conference to celebrate 25 year since inauguration and it will be held in September next year - please put the dates in your diary and if interested in your ancestry and are missing a relative (there were 3 million British in India between the 16th and 20th Centuries) book your place now for the Early Bird prices
