Looking for things to do whilst on holiday in Bude, today was a first for us. 12 years of visiting our happy place and we visited The Milkway Adventure Park. It’s not massive but it definitely filled an overcast day with some rain. The birds of prey 🦅 display was fantastic ☺️

First night back in our happy place Widemouth Bay Holiday Village and we paid our first ever visit to Gwel an Porth Bar at WBHV. I can honestly say the food was amazing and the atmosphere in the bar was lovely. Great to see the amazing transformation of this place. Can highly recommend eating here to all our wonderful guests 💗

We are counting down the days to our time back in the place we call home. We’ve been loving the photos and feedback received from our wonderful guests on their recents stays. For those who have never been to Cornwall you should add it to your list of places to visit at least once in your life. With its rugged cliff tops to the roaring shore lines it will not disappoint.

We currently have the first two weeks of the summer holidays available to books still for this season and one week in August:

20th - 27th July
27th July - 3rd August
17th - 24th August.

We also have an odd week spare between now and the summer holidays, so if you’re looking for a last minute holiday or somewhere to take the children in summer, please get in touch. The pool on site is now fully renovated and feedback shows guests are very impressed with the facilities.

Wonderful news, the pool is finally open again at Widemouth Bay Holiday Village and we are excited to let our guests know. Lots of you have been asking when/if it will reopen so we are pleased to be able to say it is. The changing rooms have had a revamp too, Dad had a week down there last week and complemented the way the pool area had been done up. Please make sure you follow the WBHV for pool opening times during your stay.

With Christmas being over and all this rain, it’s nice to start planning and thinking about holidays 🏖️
We have lots of Availability this season outside of school holidays and currently the availablity of school holidays is:

Feb Half term
The first 3 weeks of the summer holidays
October half term.

From sunrise to sunset the views here are just beautiful 💕 nothing beats cornwalls rugged coastline and beautiful beaches. There’s so much to see and do down there and with this being north Cornwall, the journey isn’t as long as most think.

Welcome to our holiday home Oceanic-Bude78. This is a 2 bedroom chalet situated on a holiday park in Widemouth Bay, Bude. Set on a hillside with fantastic views over the Atlantic Ocean 🌊. On beautiful, clear days in the evening you often see some incredible sunsets 🌅 which you can watch from the comfort of the lounge or from our patio.
We are a 10 minute drive into Bude itself, for those who love to walk it is 5 miles along the rugged coastline into Bude where you can take in some incredible sights. Please note this walk is for the more able walkers and is unsuitable for prams and bikes.
Here at Oceanic-Bude you have a choice of two beaches, Black Rock beach or summerlease. Black Rock is a 20 minute stroll away or a 2 minute drive. Summerlease is 10 minutes in the car and is situated in Bude town itself.
The chalet has two bedrooms, 1 double and one twin bedroom. A bathroom with toilet, sink and bath with the addition of a shower over the bath. A kitchen with fully serviceable cooking facilities and a lounge/diner. We have the addition of a private patio area too with outdoor furniture on.
Prices vary on the dates booked. Please message to enquire on availability and a price. We look forward to welcoming you in the future and hope should your chose OceanicBude that you will have a wonderful stay.
Please kindly note we do not accept pets or smokers at the chalet. This is our personal holiday home, one which we treasure and use as a family and for personal reasons we would ask you to respect this decision.
