All set for the Monsal Trail 🌿 Did you know there are over 260 miles of traffic-free cycle trails to explore in Derbyshire? 🚴

From peaceful routes along former railway lines to scenic trails through rolling hills, we’ve got it all (and there are plenty of places to hire bikes too!) 🚲

The scenic Monsal Trail (pictured) runs for 8.5 miles from Bakewell to Chee Dale and crosses the spectacular Monsal Viaduct along the way 🌳

This 10-mile Derwent Edge walk is a lovely route.

You start the walk next to Ladybower Reservoir, then make your way past Derwent Dam, which looks amazing when it’s overflowing. Next, gain some height and look down over the reservoirs from above, before completing the circular with a smile 😀
