Highlife Cherry Pickers

Highlife Cherry Pickers High Life Cherry Pickers was formed in 2013 by Richard East. We are a growing firm specializing in t We are fully insured for Public Liability up to £10,000,000.

We are a growing firm offering in the hire of Cherry Pickers with operators. Most of our vehicles are Iveco vans with 17 meter pickers factory installed although we can provide any size picker needed. We operate in a 30 mile radius of Cambridge and our work varies from a two hour job where a domestic high hedge is cut through to builders using us for a day or two. Whatever your need, we can help.

When working at height, ladders can prove dangerous and not ideal for the job in hand, while scaffolding can be an expensive alternative, towers are time-consuming to erect. Hazards can then inevitably lead to accidents, or failure to effectively complete the job in hand. If you have a job that requires working at height then Hire-Homer’s operated cherry-picker service is the safest, quickest and most cost-effective option for you. Our IPAF licensed operators have a wealth of experience in a wide range of access jobs and are fully trained to the current health and safety regulations. For maximum versatility and manoeuvrability, the truck mounted access platform is well suited to a range of tasks, especially when working on construction sites where space and access can be restricted or when you need to go up and over nearby obstacles. Ariel Platforms are also ideal for jobs in highly congested areas, for example supermarket car parks or even large warehouses

Another fine job, this time at Gt. Wilbraham with two guys trying to get an insulated flue down a chimney. Bit windy, no not me, the weather and managed to do some accidental tree surgery and ruin a flower bed. Hey, that's pickin' for you. All ended well.

Sheford Manor. Awesome place. Nice and local. New bucket worked perfectly. This is quite a tool.

Now this is the place for me, Cockayne Hatley Manor, old Victorian manor house with plenty of acreage, peaceful setting. Used as a POW in WW2, very interesting history. Working with Royston Stoves who despite their considerable expertise, were left with the fact the chimneys were replaced sometime in the 1950's and seemed to not be directly connected to all but one of the fireplaces. After much tea and pondering I left them to it!

First job for Cambridge Stoves, real nice bunch of guys. Lovely day and could have done with more tea.

Working with the mighty Bryn Ives, who did an outstanding job of removing vines from a telegraph pole. His aim for dropping the debris was remarkable missing the neighbors summerhouse and avoiding pensioners.

Cherry picking generally, but not cherry popping. Nice job with a pest control guy this week who was fully suited and 10m up in the bucket when the bees swarmed. He danced like Micheal Jackson and shouted to get him down. Apparently they flew up his trousers. Ouch. Remember www.highlifecherrypickers.co.uk always keep you safe, even in a swarm of bees.
