Penbryn to LLangrannog. 7 miles.

Start at St Michaels Church car park Grid ref Sn 2935 5209 Please put donation in church box.

Start at the Car Park Of St Michaels Church Penbryn . SA44 6QN Grid Ref 293 520.
Dont forget to put a donation in the box.

Leave the car park and turn RIGHT down the hill visiting the church on the way.

The precise date that the church was completed is unknown, but there is believed to have been an
earlier church on the site during medieval times.[1] The Church in Wales states that it is of 12th century origin
making it the oldest in the diocese of St. Davids.[2] The roof is likely as old as the 15th century, though the porch
is believed to have been added much later in the early 17th century.
The windows were added in the early 19th century.[1]

Now go down the hill and look out for a stile on your left.
Climb over the stile and cross over a field, go through a gate and
enter a wood.

At the T junction of paths turn RIGHT then take the Footpath LEFT down
a lot of steps

Follow the footpath Through the valley go over a bridge ( look out for the Waterfall on your Right)
climb up the steps and enter the car park.

Go through the car park and turn LEFT on the lane.
After a few yards turn RIGHT on a lane marked with a sign as the Coast path.

Now just follow the coast path all the way to LLangrannog.

In LLangrannog. Take the road by the Pentre Arms Hotel and climb the hill.

Go round the big right hand bend then take the road to your RIGHT.

The road swings around a left hand bend then after a few house becomes an Old Bridal Way.
Follow the old green lane up through the valley untill you reach Eisteddfa Farm.

At the T Junction of tracks turn RIGHT then look out for a Footpath and stile RIGHT
That passes behind the Farm Buildings.
Cross over a little bridge Then pass though 2 fields and a muddy Track with A rope Across
until you reach the road.

At the Road turn LEFT.

at the T juction turn RIGHT,

Now walk down the Lane passing the old church on your right at Pem Morfa.

Just past the chuch at you descend the hill look out for a Stile and Footpath sign
on your RIGHT.Its hard to find you might miss it.

Go over the stile then keep the fence on your left and cross over the field.

Now follow the footpath through the valley with the stream on your left.
When you come to a lane dont turn left but fork Right.

Soon you will come to the Coast Path again.

Turn LEFT. Then at the Road turn LEFT.

At the t junction turn RIGHt and climb up the steep hill back to the church car park.

Sarah James has done it again! 😍

Sarah James MBE is the organiser of a highly successful portfolio of national contemporary craft events and has announced that she is to launch a brand-new event in her hometown of Cardigan. Craft Festival Wales will be held over three days at Cardigan Castle from 6 – 8 September 2024.

The announcement was made at a photo call with Ceredigion County Council and the event’s key partners, including , , , , National Wool Museum, , , and

Craft Festival Wales welcomes people of all ages and offers a programme of exciting craft workshops, demonstrations, and masterclasses by some of the UK’s most prestigious makers. 🔸 Over the weekend at the castle, there will be a Children’s Craft Tent, supported by Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre, National Wool Museum, Coleg Sir Gar and - offering children the opportunity to get creative while having lots of fun.

🔸 Craft Festival Wales will also present satellite events throughout the town, running for 4 weeks.

🔸Highlights include a ceramics exhibition, Significant Forms, with museum quality ceramics from Wales presented at curated by West Wales potter, Peter Bodenham .dogmaels_pottery

🔸A Youth Project with Qest craft and

🔸Sculpture Trail presented by Coleg Sir Gar in the castle grounds

🔸The Capital of Craft LIVE (talks in the Manor House)

🔸Also a Craft Festival Town Trail with six emerging makers presenting new work inspired by the National Museum’s Collection at six venues curated by .

Make it in Wales will be running taster workshops with some of our makers over the weekend as well.

There will be events, trails, activities to be celebrated throughout the Summer ( we’ll keep you posted on these)
is opening our gallery from April with selected Craft Festival Wales artists and creators.
