Cockleshell is an immaculately presented modern holiday cottage in the heart of Llansteffan. This beautiful family-friendly cottage enjoys all the benefits of a central yet peaceful location. The stylish interior is the perfect relaxing space for a rural retreat, allowing you a fantastically comfortable night's sleep after a day of exploring this largely undiscovered area and its natural and histo

ric charms. The cottage boasts 4 beautifully laid-out bedrooms, including a master double with en-suite bathroom and walk-through wardrobe, a spacious double bedroom, a twin room with woodland views, and a small bedroom with crib and blackout blinds for the baby or toddler in your group. The main lounge offers a spacious and airy place to relax, with sunlight entering from windows on opposite sides. The bold and colourful seating are modern yet comfortable, and the room provides a creative space to plan adventures and wind down in the evening. The sleek kitchen and dining space has cool tones of grey and turquoise throughout and is a calm, clean, communal space. The large hob area and double wall oven provide for ample cooking and sturdy oak dining table with seats and bench allow the whole family to eat together. The utility space to the side of the property also comes in handy for storing sandy shoes.

The nearby gastro-pub serves locally sourced food and the beer garden often hosts live music performed outdoors, it's perfect for a pint and a singalong. So too for Taylor's Tow Bar with spectacular views over Laugharne. The Village Store and Deli have great breakfast options, fresh baking and takeaway meals and the beach shop cafe serves up a delicious variety of ice creams and homemade cakes.

The surrounding area. Visitors can journey along the Wales Coast Path to Laugharne to see the Boathouse where poet Dylan Thomas lived. With strong family connections with Llansteffan, he visited regularly from the age of 4 right up until the day before he sailed for America.
