An unusual panorama looking back at Lizard Point from the furthest rocks on the reef exposed at low water this afternoon - it was spring low with about a 5.3 m tide so lots of exposure. It was slightly unnerving standing here about 300 m offshore 'under water' knowing that in a couple of hours it would be covered by one of the most dangerous tidal currents off this coast. Even though I'm looking back at land there are lots of wreck sites visible in this image, from the Royal Anne off Man O'War rock to the left to the Czar, Clan Malcolm and other wrecks beyond Housel Bay to the right.
