Corsham Bowls Club.pn Station Road, is holding a Silent Auction from 27-29 October, 12-4pm each day, with bids closing at 4pm on 29th. Lots include a tour of Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios for four; a family ticket for Westonbirt Arboretum; six bottles of Bollinger Champagne and a round of golf at Cumberwell Park, plus 'lots' more! Pop in for coffee and cake and to make your bid.

The school holidays are here and we have two FREE SUMMER TRAILS to keep the kids busy in Corsham.

For preschoolers, there's the SUNFLOWER TRAIL and for children under 11 there's the POKEMON TRAIL.

Come to Corsham for all your Back to School essentials - shoes, haircuts and stationery can all be ticked off the list, leaving time to have fun in the toy shop, book shop, cafes and parks, all with 2 hours free parking and no need to brave the queues into Bath.

Pick up a Parent Passport from participating businesses displaying the Back to School Trail window sticker, get it stamped and you could win a hamper of goodies donated by the businesses – a special treat for you after spending out on your children.

To celebrate local historian Carosi is leading a free walk around the Corsham Pre-fab estates on Saturday 27th May. To book your place please come to the Library Help Desk or call 01249 468 490.

There will also be a display focusing on the Corsham prefab estates in the Library through May. Please come and share your memories
