There's always something new to see in Fife. This summer has seen the launch of "Scotties By The Sea" - an art trail stretching up the coast from Leven to Newburgh. 45 Scottie dog sculptures by local artists, each a unique design.

Scotties by the Sea 2023 a large-scale public art trail set to come St Andrews and the Northeast Fife Coastal Community September 2023.

On several occasions this season, our Rangers have helped children back to shore who have drifted out into deep water on inflatables.

Remember - novelty inflatables are dangerous if used in open water - keep them for the pool only.

The Labrador team at PitlessieHouseHolidays has expanded. Chewie has taken her promotion seriously and is inducting the trainees Mac & Honey in a variety of areas including, safe railway crossing, furniture hogging, food process inspections and transportation procedures. We have now experienced all of our walking routes with 3 dogs and can confirm they are more entertaining than ever.

Sunny evening in the Howe of Fife. Just right for an evening stroll up Cults Hill, directly across the road from The Maltings at Pitlessie House. Looking back for the dramatic views of the Lomond Hills, we couldn’t help focusing on the Pitlessie Village Inn at the bottom of the track where the beer garden was filling up.

Looking back down Cults Hill towards Pitlessie on one of our favourite dog walking routes. This short loop follows the farm track opposite the house. It’s a sharp 1.3km climb to the top, but you’re always rewarded with a view. On a clear day you can just see the shapes of some of the Cairngorms beyond the Ochils ⛰
