Today we witness the Britannia Royal Naval College’s Passing-out Parade.

There are 278 assembled on the parade, of which 164 are commissioning today. Among that number are 18 International Officers, 16 Royal Fleet Auxiliary Officers & 18 Royal Naval Reserve Officers who have completed the Accelerated Officer Programme.

Taking the salute is the Second Sea Lord, Vice Admiral Martin Connell CBE.

When staying in Dartmouth I would Highly recommend the Tour of the Britannia Royal Naval College. It was a fabulous morning tour of 2.5 hrs long and we were lucky to see the Naval Officers practising for their passing out parade. King Charles returned to the college numerous times to take passing out parades and planted a tree in the captain’s garden, where his parents were famously photographed together for the first time.

And this is what a £68 million Super Yacht looks like as it comes into Dartmouth. It is owned by John Henry who also owns the Boston Red Sox as well as Liverpool FC.

Among the yacht's main features are an ornate fireplace in the main saloon, an infinity pool located aft of the main deck, an elevator, a spa center, a gym and a helipad located on the bow.

Henry, who is worth close to £2 billion according to influential American business magazine Forbes, also owns the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Globe newspaper and a NASCAR racing team.

It's a simply stunning walk out to or back from Dartmouth Castle and can be combined with the much loved trip on the Castle Ferry for an almost seals eye view of Dartmouth and Kingswear ... And a sighting of our very own mermaid, sat proudly residing over the river, near the castle landing point ... You might also be lucky to spot a seal or two exploring the river.

At the Visitor Centre we have free leaflets showing the route with points of interest along the way.

Pics are in order of starting at the castle, including a drop down to the Castle Ferry landing to see the mermaid and then the walk into Dartmouth via Warfleet and South Town.

Can't think there could be a much better walk into work.

Perfect as part of an explore of Dartmouth.
