We know that dogs are a huge part of the family and we want them to be included in all of the fun here, so we wanted to remind you that we are a dog friendly site!

Dogs on leads are always very welcome with their well behaved humans!

We always have fresh water on offer and our shaded outdoor eating area to relax in after all the muddy fun.

We might even have a treat or two on offer for your four legged friend! Just ask at the cafe! 🦴

The Root House is spacious enough for a young family to stay. It has a king size bed, single bed and room to put up a travel cot too.

We have four holiday cottages that are all and welcoming. Set in the beautiful countryside of North Devon. Each garden is enclosed and safe and there is a communal paddock with views for miles.

Today we were delighted to welcome a family group booking for exclusive use of all four cottages - they booked way back in 2018 for a stay during Easter 2019 which of course never happened. It’s super to finally have them all here. Have a great weekend everyone and Happy Easter 🐣 🥂🥳

Always so lovely hearing guests have enjoyed themselves and were happy with the cottage 🤩🤩🤩🤩 we are fully booked for the summer but still have some availability for autumn dates and I have now opened up next years calendar so if you want first dibs on any dates - get booking ✅

We went alpaca walking a couple of weekends ago at Wolley Animals who are based only about 20 minutes from the cottages. There’s goat milking, pony grooming and sheepdog demos, along with petting and feeding a variety or animals. No need to book for general entry but the alpaca walking does need to be booked in advance. Definitely worth checking them out.

Can’t beat a day down at Saunton Sands when the weather is like this! Brilliant beach that is dog friendly all year, lovely shallow waters for the kids to splash about in. Toilets, parking and Cafe 👌🏼🏖🌊💙
