Interesting local craft event
Is Saturday 10 August 2024 in your diary for a visit to our Dulverton Summer Craft Fair 2024 in the Town Hall, 10am - 3pm?
This will be our fifth event at the location, and always well worth some time attending to meet the many local stallholders with their fantastic range of high quality products.
Further to those already mentioned, we have the following with us for the day:
Half Acre Pottery : Jenny has been with us on the other occasions, and is always well received. She creates hand built pottery from a small studio in Williton on the edge of Exmoor.
Fossil Fanatic : George is with us for the first time, and is excited to be part of this popular event. From Bridgwater, George sells themed fossil excavation kits he's made - unearth your very own piece of dinosaur bone! Prefer to make your own? No problem, you can do that too with customisation available at shows only. He also offers a range of framed fossils, lucky dip bags, fossil themed prints, coasters and mugs.
Hjordis By Kirsten : Located close to ourselves near Morebath, Hjordis is the home of bespoke resin jewellery, creating one-off pieces that explore colour in new and exciting ways. Kirsten takes her inspiration from the natural world, the cosmos, and in fact anything that catches her eye, makes her go, “Ooo! Pretty!” and motivates her to spend time in her Devon studio creating jewellery with passion and a sense of joy. Mixing in other techniques including chainmaille and bead weaving, the results are always striking, unique, and very special. Custom orders and commissions accepted.
Cherry Tree Drawings : Another very popular stallholder at our events, Sue lives and works in East Devon. She is a self taught artist, drawing realistic pet and wildlife portraits, and continues to develop her technique with pencils and pastels.
Capturing the personality and expression of an animal is something Sue takes pride in. All works are created within her home studio, usually working from photographs.
She works primarily in artist quality, lightfast coloured pencils which enable her to work to a high degree of realism.
Sue likes her art to be affordable for everyone and so her commissions are available in a variety of sizes to suit. Many of her drawings are also available as greetings cards and she'll have original art work, greetings cards, mugs, coasters, and more with her designs printed on them.
So, you see, another 4 stallholders you really will want to meet.
The fair will be on both floors - the entrance hall, and main hall - so please be sure to visit both. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and everyone is welcome - including dogs!
Please share.
