I am thrilled to announce a design collaboration with The Lounge Co - a brand new furniture company from Sofa brands (owners of Parker Knoll and G Plan Comfort.) A stunning new UK based contemporary furniture manufacturer who I've worked with over the past year to create three brand new and exclusive cushion designs to complement their amazing high quality and hand-made in UK sofas and arm chairs.

Did you know that not only can you book Kate and Gillian for a Designer-Maker selling party but that we can also come into your home to run workshops?

Kate ran an introduction to making jewellery workshop at Pod earlier in the week and had a grand old time teaching a group ranging from a little girl of 6 to a grandma. This is what one of the first time jewellery makers produced: isn't it great?

Kate's running an introduction to jewellery making workshop for kids (and adults) over half term at Pod in Bishop Auckland.

Are you looking for an activity for your kids during half term?

Check out Kate's great workshop which provides an introduction to jewellery making: the kids will leave with new skills, a pair of earrings and a charm bracelet whilst having had loads of fun.

Whilst they experiment you can sit back and enjoy some peace and quiet along with an excellent cup of coffee by Bean Grounded.

Do you remember that a while ago I showed you some doodles that I was thinking of turning into jewellery?
Well, this is my first play with the idea in acrylic.
They still need some work (especially the one with little circles on)....but they are well on the way.

Having spent lots of time this summer doodling (due to building work and associated lack of studio) Kate's ended up creating some pieces based on her doodles.....can't wait to see the results!

I love doodling.....
I'm an abstract doodler not a "thing" doodler. I've been doing so much doodling recently I thought I'd play around with some doodle designs for earrings......I'm looking forward to seeing if they work.

First party of the Autumn/ Winter season all booked in: can't wait!

I love these events.....I love being in people's homes, where it is their territory and they are comfortable. Its fun watching other people having fun and I love the conversations that I have with all the guests.
