Working in metal, Alison creates quirky, brightly coloured sculptures. The 20 pieces in this exhibition are inspired by the designs and patterns she’s found in the Arts and Crafts house and garden at Standen House.

The sculpture trail is open until July 1st, 2024 and the admission is free.

Through the meadows at Wakehurst and four bespoke art installations, immerse yourself in a showcase of the diverse wildflowers, grasses and wildlife that form these precious ecosystems, and be inspired to join us in protecting this rare habitat for future generations.

Town Tour - Saturday 15th June, 10am

As summer starts to heat up (or start deluging), why not come and learn about your local high street? Join our local expert as she takes you on a tour around East Grinstead’s medieval heart from St Swithuns Church to Sackville College.

The tour will include a 30 minute tour of the inside of St Swithuns, given by a member of the St Swithuns Restoration Trust.

The tour will start and finish at the Museum and tickets are £6.50 per person, buyable on the day.

Please note that it will depart sharply from the museum at 10:00am in order to visit St Swithuns Church.

Today we remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, as we join the commemoration of the D-Day landings with the national beacon lighting on King George's Field.

We will meet at 6pm for a community picnic with garden games for the children. Later, from 8.15pm, we will join the live transmission from the beaches of Normandy followed, 9.15pm, with the lighting of East Grinstead's beacon.
