This week is our Travel Expert Joseph! Joe joined us in December last year, here is a little bit about Joe and his travels.....

Where have you travelled to? Thailand, Malaysia, I'd Recommend Langkawi! Sri Lanka, India - did a lot here but the Golden Triangle trip is always a good starting point, USA Mainly the Mid-west, Canary Islands, Portugal, Netherlands

What is your favourite destination/trip? Too hard to choose! Canary Islands for Hiking, Thailand for food!

Where was your last trip? Canary Islands

Where is next on your list? Greece

Favourite souvenir from your travels? Does my Wife count?!

Best travel memory? Scuba diving off Koh Tao at night. Took a boat out at sunset then dived into the black sea, only navigating by the small beam of light from my flashlight. Weaving between coral stacks we eventually sat on the sea bed and turned our flashlights off, waved our hands in front of our eyes and 1000's of photo-plankton lit up, it felt like I was in space surrounded by green stars.

🌎✈️March was a month full of adventure for our staff, our travel expert Joanna went to Japan, here's what she had to say..... ✈️🌎

🏔🗾⛩ "In March I travelled out to Japan (which had been at the top of my bucket list for the longest time!) for just over 2 weeks with my younger sister. For the first 10 days we joined a tour with One Life Adventures who had an absolutely incredible itinerary which included the Robot Restaurant, Sushi Making class and Kendo class (taught by the descendant of an actual Japanese Samurai!) amongst many more amazing activities. After we said 'Sayonara' to our new friends when the tour ended in Osaka, we travelled to Tokyo where we spent another 5 days exploring. During this time we visited both Disney Parks, Studio Ghibli and rode around the streets of Tokyo in a go kart dressed as a cartoon character." ⛩🗾🏔

Jo's highlights: Going to a Kintsugi workshop to learn the art of mending broken pottery with gold (the philosophy being that imperfections can be beautiful). Visiting the Fushimi Inari shrine at sunrise to beat the crowds!
