Another fab couple of days in the big apple 🍏 Always nice to visit the 911 Memorial, this time we stopped for a drink and a bite to eat at the Famous OHaras pub, this bar was badly damaged by the fall of the North Tower. Look around and see the thousands of patches from the uniforms of firefighters and rescue workers adorning any free space throughout the bar, really is moving. We then headed up to Battery park to the Statue of Liberty, I’ve been here before but never have I climbed the 162 steps to the top of the crown 🗜🙈 It’s safe to say my legs are hurting today but a great experience and another tick on the bucket list 😂 After a quick visit to see to Ghostbusters HQ we then went to the top of Hudson Yard to the Edge for sunset. Another fantastic viewing platform with the option for the adrenaline junkies to Climb the highest open-air building ascent in the world. Climbers scale the outside of the skyscraper more than 1,200 feet above the ground, then lean out and look down from the highest outdoor platform in New York City. It’s an adventure unlike any other in the world and an achievement that you will remember for the rest of your life. I really wanted to try this but it was booked up so I would recommend pre-booking it. A couple of days shopping, seeing friends and chilling out now ready for Sunday where we will be joing the locals for a Super Bowl party 🏉 For anyone that has sent enquiries through, keep them coming and I’ll respond to all messages when I’m home, Xx

Now a little bit about me, who I am and where I have been.

Since leaving school at the age of 16 I haven't known anything else but travel, I just knew that the travel industry was the place I wanted to be! So.
 the day after I left school I started this journey as an apprentice travel consultant at Thomas cook, Stockton heath. After completing my apprenticeship I moved to Thomas cook, Northwich, where I took up the position of travel consultant.

For 5 years I had the honour and privilege of being trusted to plan and book thousands of peoples holidays. During this time I was 1 of the top sellers in the company and in March 2010, I was rewarded with a promotion to Customer Service Manager.
