The warm winter sun sparks the gorse in to a early flowering whilst the waves charge towards the sandy beach at Saunton Beach.
Saunton Sands is a beach near the village of Saunton on the North Devon coast near Braunton, popular for surfing. Beyond its southern end, Crow Point, is the mouth of the River Taw estuary. It is part of the Taw-Torridge estuary Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is at the centre of the UNESCO-designated North Devon's Biosphere Reserve, where Braunton Burrows lies at the heart.

Great countryside location for day trips to North Devon coast beaches or trips to Exmoor or Dartmoor. So much to enjoy. Very cosy indoors, with underfloor heating in the converted barn and a roaring log fire in the farmhouse... Good availability at the moment for 2023, but it gets booked quickly.
