Easter Adventures at Killerton begins this Saturday 23rd March and runs daily until Sunday 14th April 🐰 🪺

We're hopping with anticipation! Easter Adventures at Killerton begins this Saturday 23 March and runs daily until Sunday 14 April. Get your bunny ears on and explore the grounds, completing each 'egg'citing activity along the route (pun absolutely intended). 🐣

Bringing your four-legged friend? Pick up a dog friendly trail sheet from Visitor Reception. Oh, and don't forget to collect your egg at the end!

Trails are £3 each and include a trail sheet, activity sheet and chocolate egg.
Normal admission applies. National Trust members and under fives go free.

🌟We are looking for a cleaner 🌟

Reliable and professional self employed individual / business wanted for approx. 2-3 hours every Friday morning from 10am. We currently have a fantastic cleaner who takes care of our holiday let, now just looking for someone else to join the team to take care of changeover day for our 4 bedroom guesthouse.

Initially one day a week (has to be Friday morning) with the possibility to increase to include Monday mornings from July onwards.

Today we celebrate World Wetlands Day

Wetlands provide a diverse habitat for a vast variety of species & plant life which all help build strong ecosystems in our British countryside.
Check out this photo of our mangalitza pigs wallowing in a scape created on the wetlands they conservation graze. A perfect source of natural water supply, a wallow for the ever increasing temperatures, a carbon lock & a home for migratory birds & water life.

Not a great photo but that orange blob in the field is a fox- we have also recently noticed a nearby den with fox cubs! It shows how untouched this land is with deer, foxes, etc often spotted out and about in broad daylight

We’ve been busy in the garden again… Decided to get creative (and wildlife friendly) and have mowed a much smaller area which we will maintain. Around that we’ve scarified the turf and spread wildflower seeds, the remaining grass around that will be left to grow long

A weekend put to good use making the most of freebies! Got hold of a free greenhouse, turned some old pallet collars into a herb garden and made some massive planters out of old floorboards. Reduce, reuse, recycle 🙌🏼
