With very mixed emotions we can finally announce that The Well House now has new owners.

Whilst we are sad to be leaving all the lovely friends we have made in Fowey, we are excited to be moving back to Hampshire to be closer to our family and, of course, our first grandchild who is due any day now,

We can't go without saying 'Thank you'

- to our fiends and fellow business owners. Wow! What an amazing community to be a part of! Thankyou for your support. We wish you all the best for the rest of this season and for future seasons,
- to our suppliers, B&B guests and Tea Room customers, many of whom are now firm friends, thank you for everything. Your support has been so very much appreciated.
- Thanks to everyone who has been part of our team over the years, especially our Fab Four - Katie Court, Sarah Court, Megan and of course, our special girl Verity Walsh who has put up with us since we first arrived nearly 10 years ago and is now part of the family and will have to put up with us for ever!

It's been a whirlwind few weeks and sorry we are heading off without the chance for proper goodbyes but we'll come back for a get together when things calm down a little.

Our time as Fowey residents is coming to an end but we'll definitely be back for visits - during the quieter months!

Hello there.

We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone. It’s been a difficult week but your cards, best wishes and kind messages of support have been a big help and so very much appreciated.

We’re a long way off from being ok but we’ll get there.

Some may know we accepted an offer on The Well House earlier this year.

Frustratingly the other party has pulled out of the sale one day before we were due to exchange.

It is difficult to say how we are feeling at the moment and the effect this is having on us and also our immediate family whose plans have also been affected.

We’re going to take some time out to re-group, take stock and decide what to do.

We’ll be back when we have more news.

And that’s it for us for this season. What a season it’s been! Thank you to our friends, family, B&B guests and Tea Room customers for your continued support and encouragement. Massive thanks to our fabulous Well House Girls. When we have been allowed to open it’s been crazy busy and you’ve all been amazing. We will be opening again early 2021 - date tbc as we have maintenance and a new roof going on in January. In the meantime, we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and safe New Year 🥰

Following yesterday's Government announcement we will be closing the Tea Rooms and Bed & Breakfast from Thursday 5th November for the duration of the lockdown period. All our B&B guests with bookings during this time have been contacted so that we can hopefully try to rearrange their bookings with us. Huge thanks to our guests, customers and our fabulous team who have been with us over the past few crazily busy months. We'll open again as soon as we can.
