BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
Bookings:-
Once initial contact has been made via Facebook (messenger), Telephone or E-Mail to JD Holiday Chalets, and dates have been agreed, we will issue an invoice detailing the dates and the Chalet of your choice (Bermuda Breeze in Hemsby or Holly Daze in Scratby), we will also detail payments and due dates. We will reserve the chalet and dates for you for 24 hours
from the time of issue of invoice. We will require a £50 Deposit per chalet per week within this time to secure your reservation. If the Deposit is not received within this period, the reservation will expire and the chalet may be made available for others to book. Prior to this happening we will try to contact you just in case there has been an oversight. Upon receipt of your £50 Deposit your holiday will be confirmed and a receipt for your deposit will be issued. Booking Deposit:-
All bookings must be accompanied with a Deposit payment of £50.00 per week per chalet. A receipt will then be issued by JD Holiday Chalets confirming your holiday booking. Bookings made within 28 days of the start date of your holiday will require the full payment to be made with the booking.

The Deposit is a booking fee and is non-refundable in all cases. Security Deposits:-
In addition to the booking deposit there is also a REFUNDABLE £75 security deposit. This will be refunded to you within 7 days after your holiday finishes. This security deposit will be refunded in full on condition that the chalet is left in the condition and as clean as you received it in, and there is no damage, breakages, lost keys, soiled beds or bed linen etc. This security deposit will is required to be paid at least 24 hours prior to the start of your holiday. Please remember this £75 is a security deposit only and will be refunded to you within 7 days of your holiday end date, so long as there has been no damages-breakages etc to our chalet. Its return to you will not be withheld buy ourselves without good reason. Balance Payment:-
The balance of payment for your holiday must be received by JD HOLIDAY CHALETS not less than 28 days before the commencement of your holiday. Failure to make the final payment by the due date will be regarded as cancellation of your booking. However we will try to contact you via phone or email just in case there is an oversight. The final balance due and its due date will clearly be displayed on your invoice. Payment by instalments:-
To make paying for your holiday easier, we are happy to take payment by installments at amounts that suit your budget, however the full amount must be paid in full 28 days prior to your holiday commencing. Checking in on the day:
We will contact you to arrange for the keys to be handed over to you. Chalets will be available from 4pm on the start date of your holiday. It may sometimes be possible to check in earlier, and we will do our best to accommodate this but please check with us beforehand so we can confirm. Checking out:-

The chalet should be left clean and tidy and in the condition you received it in, with all rubbish removed from the chalet and deposited in the refuse bins situated either outside the chalet or around the site. You will be held responsible to make good or pay for any breakages or damages to the chalet and all its contents. We understand accidents happen and so small items such as the odd glass or cup that may be broken will be seen as considerable wear and tear and not charged for. However, please make us aware of such breakages so we can replace for our next guest. You will be responsible for the security of the chalet during your holiday until you have been checked out of your chalet. The chalet will be checked on the day of your departure. If you would like us to be present when you check out, this can be arranged. Otherwise, please remember to leave the keys in the security box outside the chalet. Remember if extra work, cleaning or repairs are required to your chalet it could jeopardize the return of your security deposit. WiFi:-
We are delighted to say that we are now offering free WiFi at Holly Daze. Although there is no charge for this, we do reserve the right to apply a charge of £50 (which is the deposit our provider has charged us) for any damage to the equipment. Lost keys:-
Lost or mislaid keys will incur a £40.00 charge per key. This charge will be collected at the time new key/keys are issued and includes the cost of call out. There may also be a delay in issuing you replacement keys as we may not always be in the vicinity of the holiday park. JD Holiday Chalets reserve the right to refuse admission to: -
a) Any person including children not mentioned during our communication when booking. b) Any person, who in the opinion JD Holiday Chalets are not suitable persons to take charge of the chalet. In these circumstances no refund of holiday monies paid will be refunded. Both of our holiday chalets are on managed holidays parks (Green Farm (California) and Bermuda), and the site owner also has the right to ask any person or holiday maker to leave the site if he considers their behaviour is not acceptable. In these circumstances no refund of holiday monies paid will be refunded by either JD Holiday Chalets or the site owner, in addition and any cost incurred to evict will be pursued. Changes in your booking by JD Holiday Chalets:-
In the unlikely event that your booked accommodation should become unavailable for any reason JD Holiday Chalets will refund all monies paid to them. JD Holiday Chalets shall not be liable for any additional expenses or consequential losses incurred or suffered by you. We will of course give you as much notice as is possible and will try our very best to sort out any problems should they occur. Changes made by you:-
After your booking has been confirmed by JD Holiday Chalets, should you wish to change either the chalet or week(s) booked this will be deemed to be a Cancellation of your booked accommodation and the Cancellation provisions will apply so please ensure you book the accommodation and week(s) you require. JD Holiday Chalets shall not be liable for the death of, or injury to any person (accept as prohibited by law), nor for any loss or damage to personal property of any person on holiday in or visiting Bermuda Holiday Park or Green Park Caravan Park or any accommodation booked through JD Holiday Chalets. Cancellation:-
Your booking of a holiday chalet with JD Holiday Chalets is a legal contract. If you cancel your holiday more than 28 days prior to the arrival date for the start of your holiday only your Deposit will be lost. However if you cancel your holiday 28 days or less from your start date the full balance will be due and no refunds of any monies paid will be made. Cancellation will be deemed to have been made when acknowledged by JD Holiday Chalets. All male/female parties:-
Bookings for all male and female parties under 21 will not be accepted. Fire Safety:-
During your stay in our chalet your safety is extremely important to us. Please take time upon arrival to read all the notes on the ‘welcome leaflet’ and be familiar with the ‘Fire Action Notice’ displayed in the chalet. In advance, we request that guests do not bring or use candles in the chalet. Thank you. Fire blankets and Fire Extinguishers are provided. These should only be used if nobody is put at risk. Our message in the event of a fire is to vacate the property and keep a safe distance away and wait for emergency services to arrive and deal with situation. Smoke Alarms, Heat Alarms, Fire blankets and Fire Extinguishers are checked at every changeover. Should any these potential lifesaving equipment be damaged or mis-used in any way, the guest will be charged for replacement. Smoking:-
All chalets are strictly NON SMOKING. Pets:-
JD Holiday Chalets are unable to accommodate pets of any kind in our Bermuda Breeze chalet due to site restrictions. JD Holiday Chalets do allow one well behaved dog in our Holly Daze chalet. Car Parking:-
There is ample free car parking on both Bermuda Holiday Park and Green Park (California Sands) and only a short walk from your chalet, however it is not reserved and is on a first come basis. All vehicles and their belonging are left at their owners risk. On-Site Facilities:-
The facilities of Bermuda Holiday Park and Green Farm (California Sands), including but not limited to the swimming pool the supermarket/shop, the amusement arcade, the launderette, the cafe and the club, are not run by JD HOLIDAY CHALETS and we cannot be held responsible if any of these are not available during your holiday period for any reason. Please note that in “low season” some of the on-site facilities may be closed or have limited opening hours. There are, however, plenty of other clubs, restaurants/cafes, takeaways and amusements all close by. Electricity:-
There is a meter for electricity that accepts £1 coins. Included in price:-
Fresh Bed linen, Hand Towel, Tea towels and Bath Mat are supplied. A welcome pack of Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk, Biscuits
Washing up Liquid, Hand Wash, Anitbacterial Cleaner, Toilet Roll
*Please bring your own towels (unless advised that towels are included. In any event please bring your own towels for the beach)
Holiday insurance:-
It is recommended by Holiday Chalets that you take out holiday insurance to cover any loss or injury you may sustain whilst on holiday.
