Dawn has new gates, built and fitted by the wonderful Matt. The bushes at the side need a trim again - I only did them on Friday, less than a week ago and they have grown again!! (Also good news is that the safari tents in the pitches next door have to come down - they needed planning permission and it wasn't asked for. They're out of keeping with the area.)

I've been feeling that our website is looking tired, I haven't updated it since 2019. If anyone has photos from their hols at either bungalow they would like added please post them here.

Just back from a weekend at Dawn, planting lots of spring bulbs - looking forward to seeing them in bloom in a couple of months. And some snaps of our dogs on the beach and in the garden, the sky is always so dramatic

Holidays on Norfolk's beautiful south coast.
"Dawn" has a sea view and is a few mins walk from the Winterton Valley for miles of safe off lead dog walking, with the vast beach the other side of the dunes. No nearby roads or traffic for at least half a mile, all you will hear is the sea and sea birds.
Available all year but very popular with repeat guests who book most years so limited availability.

We're staying for the weekend to have a pre-Christmas breather and to put the Christmas trees up at Dawn and Eve. We had beautiful sunshine yesterday for a walk along the top of Winterton nature reserve - seals all over the footpath.

Just had this lovely message from the lady who's been staying at Dawn - we have a resident hedgehog now it seems 🤩 Hedgehogs travel 7 miles a day apparently so hopefully this one will find somewhere else to go if any of Dawn's canine visitors scare him.

Dawn's current guests have never visited Hemsby before and they're smitten!! They only arrived last night but have been busy exploring the beach and the nearby area (super lucky as it's a full moon tonight, they'll be able to see it light up the sea 🤞) They've got Horsey on their itinerary today. Looks like beautiful weather there too 😍😍😍

The first baby seals have arrived at Horsey Beach, a few miles from Dawn, I'll be helping to keep them safe later this week and into the winter months. They tend to spread down to Winterton around mid December for a month or so and can be found nestling in the dunes. Dawn is available for short breaks all over the off peak months.

Quite a deep lagoon has formed on the beach, my dogs love swimming in it. The lagoon comes and goes with the weather, sometimes we have it for a few weeks then it disappears
