Stayed at Valley Lodge 53, Hideaway Cottage, from 1st June 2024 for 1 week.

A beautiful, spacious private getaway place, set peacefully in the Tamar Valley.
Everything is well thought out in every room.
Beautiful decorated bedrooms to a spacious open plan living area with large sofas.tv, radio, puzzles, and games for all the family.

From the lounge.
The large window / patio door takes you to a private decked seating area with a table and chairs surrounded by trees where you can relax.

The large open plan kitchen has everything you need to make your stay stress free.
All the appliances you could possibly need to make your stay home from home.

The beautifully decorated bedrooms feel calm and cosy with the added beauty of a hot tub leading from the main bedroom.
Every room has ample space for storage with fitted wardrobes and side tables with lamps.

They have thought about everything, including highchair, fold away cots, stairgate, and even a night light.

A peaceful, spacious, cosy, clean, cottage with a home from home feel.
What more could you need.

There is an onsite bar/ restaurant with an outside seating area, a small convenience store, indoor and outdoor pools, and a gym.

Short drive to Callington and Tavistock.

Would definitely recommend and
We will definitely return.

Tomorrow, Sunday 14 January, the glorious Tamar Valley will feature on Countryfile on BBC 1 at 6pm!

We've had to keep it under our hats for a little while, but we filmed with them in December for this special episode. It focuses on the Tamara Coast to Coast Way, the new 87-mile walking route that stretches from the South to the North coast in the South West, broadly following the River Tamar.

The Tamara Coast to Coast Way, is a Tamara Landscape Partnership Scheme project. The Scheme, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund aims to create a brighter future for the Tamar Valley and its communities.
