"My Journey Until Now"

I was born in Stillwater, New York in 1991 where I later moved to live in California for 8 years at the age of 16. Influenced by my mother I began exploring metaphysics and astrology as a teenager. As of 2011 I began doing tarot card readings freelance in Santa Cruz, California and the Bay Area. This progressed to readings at a metaphysical bookstore, teaching beginners astrology classes and doing a lecture at UCSC (University of California Santa Cruz). I have featured on two university radio stations such as KZSC and Portland's University Radio.}

Eclipses were often times that were feared by the ancients as they often thought it often foreshadowed some unfortunate events for their people. Luckily we modern day Astrologers generally have a more optimistic and less fatalistic view on these matters.

One thing for certain is that Eclipses have a feeling of fate to them. Such as synchronistic encounters, slight changes that end up playing a big role in the story for the future and heightened emotional and psychic awareness.

Today on the day of the eclipse energies are at their appex. And this lunar eclipse is in Cancer. A lunar Eclipse is an extremely powerful Full Moon that sheds a light on our subconscious, habits and emotions which intensify as we become aware of them. A lunar Eclipse is a purification of some sorts, a clearing away of all the emotional imprints from the past six months. Imagine it like the tide coming in to wash away all the seashells, weeds and debris back from the shore back to the source from which they came.

Now lets talk about sign Cancer and transits..

This Lunar Eclipse is in the water sign of Cancer, urging us to incorporate the wisdom of this sign into our lives for the upcoming six months.That wisdom includes taking care of ourselves and others, and those we consider as family. As well as taking to time to heal and getting in touch with our feelings. It's important to trust your Intuition (like a cancer) to know when rest and when to give yourself permission to have some private time. This is the challenge as this Full Moon opposes five planets in Capricorn; the Sun, Mercury, , Jupiter, Saturn & Pluto. The earth sign Capricorn has the evolutionary goals of maturity, self sufficiency, achievement, practicality and reputation. This is an honourable mission but can often not leave one time for home, family, loves ones, privacy, feelings etc.. this is the balance we must strike in the future.

The aspects of Saturn and Jupiter opposite to the Moon work together. Saturn pushes to take on our responsibilities (Saturn). This could produce some low spirits at times Yet almost like a hiker climbing a hill and reaching the top to behold a sunset, we can be given optimistism and perspective on our journey, of what all the hard work is for (Jupiter in Capricorn). A s*xtile from Uranus can gives us out of the blew intuitions and original approaches to how we go about our responsibilities and commitments.
We could also feel guilty about taking the time to take care of ourselves, especially if we let the negative aspects of the Saturn and P**o conjunction take hold. The Saturn Pluto conjunction is the big transit of 2020, with significant global implications.

The negatives of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction could leave us feeling even more oppressed, feeling pressured to conform to those who have more power over our lives if we let it. (governments, jobs, associations etc..)

When in fact this transit is giving us the potential to find the passion, discipline and focus to work on goals that will create a deep, impactful lasting change in our lives and the lives of others.

This often means tearing down outdated structures in our lives and society. From the rubble we can creatively build our dreams from a clean slate.

Pluto opposed to this Eclipse can bring a balance between destiny and nurterence. Do we let our ambitions twist into obsession for power & status at any cost and neglect our hearts? Or do we remember that our power is given to us as a vessel not for our own glory but for the transformation and improvement of humanity.

We are almost out of Mercury Retrograde mis amigos! By Dec 6th Mercury will slowly start to behave itself again! Until then there is still the possibility of communication misunderstandings, delays (especially with transactions, mail, travel, business, information exchange etc..) and technology breakdowns.

Since this retrograde started (November 16th) I’ve had plenty more mis-communications and confusion to do with attending meet ups (which I end up late to by accident) or where I’ve had a discussion online or made a joke and it’s been taken the wrong way to the extreme, way more than usual. To top it off my boiler has stopped working repeatedly, resulting in no hot water and having to take an old fashioned birdbath, like I am a hummingbird or something!

This may appear to some as coincidence, yet even at times when I didn’t know of a retrograde, there has been countless reports of the issues I’ve already mentioned above manifesting.

Yet energy has shifted! Mercury has regressed into intense and passionate Scorpio since December 1st! The potential for clarity and awareness of how we maybe confuse or mis -communicate intimate matters is the karmic lesson now.

We could become suddenly aware of how our game playing and secrecy gets in the way of true heart to heart communication. How withholding information can create resentments and paranoia in ourselves and others.

First of two part Weekly Life Transformational Astrology Horoscope of November 16th

“A week of Clarity and Reassessment: Mars Switches signs and Venus Goes Direct the same day Mercury Goes Retrograde!

Mars switches signs after many months in Aquarius and stays in Pisces until December 31st. Mars is our energy, passion, drive, courage, s*xuality and desire. In the emotional sign of Pisces our drive will be toward consciousness, compassion, dreams, imagination. It’s will teach us now how to have the courage to forgive, to understand and feel why another being maybe be suffering. It also takes quite a brave soul to dream, to imagine an ideal world, when mainstream society tells us dreaming is unrealistic and imagination is childish. Yet this is the tide of the universe now. Pisces is about the intuition, the intangible, the mystical, the otherworldly. We have to feel our way to our goals now, to be bold enough to let go of logic and trust our heart.

Venus goes direct the 16th of November after being in retrograde motion since October 5th! Venus retrograde was a time when we went inward to review relationships, self worth, money, attraction and love. It was also a time when relationships were tested and maybe broken . Old ties and romance could have fired up again, yet now things are moving forward again. In the upcoming weeks there will be more clarity in all Venus matters as I mentioned, such as love, money, relationships and values. We may find that what we thought was valuable during the retrograde is valued differently now that things are clearing up.

Just as Venus goes Direct Mercury goes Retrograde in the sign of Sagittarius on November 16th until December 6th. This is a transit that a lot of people freak out about and attract more misfortune I believe through focusing so much on the negative aspects of this retrograde. Ultimately it is a time, when there can be mis communications, breakdowns in technology, travel delays and information confusion. Mercury is the planet of the perception, communication and movement. As in any retrograde cycle we reflect on these things, how we perceive things, how we receive information, how we share information. The little details in conversations , travel plans, technology etc..can have a huge effect on us, depending on how we perceive them and communicate them. With Mercury Retrograde in Sagittarius we may need to take stock of our beliefs, how we perceive unfamiliar experiences, terrains and people. What our ethics and morals are in our day to day interactions such as conversations, technology and how we receive information. Negative Mercury in Sagittarius can be over-optimistic, blunt and self righteous, missing out on the details and convinced their perspective is right. These are all things to reflect on now during this retrograde cycle.

On the 22nd of November will be part two of this weekly horoscope as The Sun enters adventurous Sagittarius!

Transformative Insights Horoscope Friday November 9th, 2018

We are still going through the time of Scorpio where we delve deep into our own inner fears, under the surface of what is hidden in people and society, probing, questioning with intensity, our existance, our motives, everything that we find secure and stable. Its the time to feel deeply. All those intense, dark emotions may come to light, we may question things like death, spirits, magic and want to understand s*x, intimicy, tradegy and the like. To accept these things into our conciousness.

The human spirit is persevering and pretty fierce. You can see it in the world by the intense traumas and transformations that people go through, where that spirit comes out the other side a complety renewed. Or in some cases, that being survives but become twisted and wicked, in a way to cope with their experience. We can then have compassion..

These are all things we will possibly and most likely confront in ourselves during this time of Scorpio. Yet through this journey we have the opportunity find our true passions, wisdom, courage, power and the deepest love for all those parts of ourselves that we don't want anybody to see.

Weekly Life Transformational Astrology Horoscope of November 4th through November 11.

This week there are three key astrological events taking place. As I will mention shortly, Jupiter changing signs which happens only once a year will be a transit of much positive change and relief in a lot of ways. This post is a bit long which is only because the information is powerful and key this week!

Let me start with “Uranus in retrograde re-entering Aries- Tuesday, November 6th. This transit will more effect us globally and slowly teach us through reflection. It will last until March 2019, when Uranus will re-enter Ta**us again. So the themes of Uranus in Aries that we encountered last spring will be revisited. This will be such as breaking tradition and going after what you want independently, having the courage to pursue your own innovative ideas and being willing to fight for your right to be an individual. As Uranus is in retrograde we will be reflecting inwardly on all these things before we take action.

The New Moon in Scorpio- Wednesday, November 7th- This new moon is as deep, intense and passionate as you can go. It’s a fresh start to set goals and intentions that will manifest in two weeks time (it’s how the magic of new moons work.) This New Moon in Scorpio will lead us on an exciting, honest and magical journey into our subconscious, to surpass our fears and reach our true desires, passions and dreams. Our feelings will be intense, yet so will our psychic abilities to read what is hidden.

Jupiter enters Sagittarius- Thursday November 8th- Jupiter leaves intense Scorpio and stays in Sagittarius until December 2nd, 2019. This is good news as Jupiter is right at home in the sign of Sagittarius. For humanity as a whole it signifies an urge to expand and gain perspective on life by understanding what is exotic, foreign, ethical, spiritual and philosophical. To know more and more is what will be expanded on. There will be more opportunities for study, travel and adventure if we accept this divine offer. Not so much because of circumstance yet more because our faith in our principles and confidence to manifest these things will be higher than average!

Venus Retrograde in Scorpio: Big change of Values!

We are now in Venus Retrograde in Scorpio. This Retrograde will last from October 5th to November 16th, 2018.

You maybe completly confused to what this means. Luckily I am not as confused and can explain.

When a planet goes retrograde that planet goes into reflection on its qualities. Its a bit slow, akward and strange. Venus the planet of love is like the charmer who goes off into woods and meditates. Returns with a lot of wisdom about love when deep in reflection yet feels awkard because her mind is so introverted she can't relate as well for a bit.

So this retrograde can be a bit like this. Reflecting over on our values in relationships. What do we like in a person? What kind of relationships do we want? How worthy do we feel? Relationships from the past may arise again and relationships maybe challenged during this period to test their metel.

Be careful about entering relationships during this time because you maybe will not be seeing people as clearly. What you may get now you may regret later.

And with venus in scorpio expect a re- evaluating of intimicy, depth, s*xuelity, seduction and power in relationships. What do you want in these areas? What do you repress? How do you value yourself with these things.

Evolutionary Astrology. Its the astrology I practice. Its not a static magazine depiction of the signs and horoscopes. It's the astrology of choice, growth, progression.

From my account what often puts people off astrology, is feeling placed inside a box. It's fatalistic, pre-destined, and you feel you have no decision in the matter.

Yet Evolutionary Astrology understands that we are constantly evolving, changing, expanding etc.. An Aries in typical astrology would be desribed as aggressive, iniatiating, assertive, selfish, abrasive. You would look at this description and may think "I guess this is just how it is."

Yet if it was explained in evolutionary terms, you would come to understand that Aries is in the process of developing courage, through facing of situations that evoke fear. That at its arsenel are the qualities of independence, assertiveness, iniatiative, honesty etc..If this evolutionary path is not followed one can walk down the route of argumentiveness, selfishness, arrogance, impulsiveness etc..

Evolutionary Astrology gives you a choice and a strategy for evolving into the best version of yourself.

You have fears in your subconcious. Locate them. For me I have a fear of being vunerable. So I write down all the fears associated with being vunerable. I unlock the vault into the depths. If you just start saying positive affirmations without really believing it, it won't work. So you have to see what the negative beliefs are first and let go of them.

Then you can write out a positive belief. For example I could say the following about vunerability. I could say " Vunerability is powerful, its couragous, It's s*xy, its ok, it will open the world for me."

I can tell myself this everyday. I then will begin to reprogramm myself. The old patterns will still challenge me at first until the new patterns becomes the norm.

This process of diving deep into the subconcious and transforming is characteristic of the sign Scorpio and the planet Pluto.
