7 years ago! Look at that empty beach for a Bank Holiday weekend! Always plenty of space at Hayle Towans.. 🏖️🌊☀️Katoomba is less than a 10 minute walk to this beach.

So here we have, new blackout linings for the bedroom curtains! No sewing involved! 😂 ps. This was taken in bright sunshine so I hope they work against the street lamp! 🤦🏻‍♀️

As promised! We have a new larger sink unit and new fire resisting doors to the bedrooms (with special thanks to my brother who is now unlikely to ever offer to help again.. Katoomba does have its own unique sizing..😁). We also have mains wired interlinked smoke and heat detectors, so Katoomba is fully compliant with the new Fire safety guidance. We still have availability this year including some short breaks in March.

As you know we always love to work on Katoomba for the short time we have to close over winter. You may have been hearing about the updated fire legislation for holiday lets. Whilst Katoomba is tiny, there have been some improvements we can make so we are getting on with this now! My new updated Fire risk assessment will also be kept in Katoomba and uploaded to my website (when I figure out how to do it!).
Rest assured- Katoomba will be as safe as it can possibly be for the coming season!

I have decided to change my pricing structure for pets. I inherited the previous system when Katoomba was advertised through an agent, but now I would like to charge a set rate of £5 per night for up to 3 dogs. I hope this helps people! 😊 🦮🐕‍🦺🐩

My sister had to do one better and has a beautiful newly built chalet only a couple of minutes walk from Katoomba. For those of you that are thinking of holidaying with family and friends but want separate accommodation then please take a look at Tweenbanx. It sleeps 6 and is pet free.
