Shout out to the The Tarka Line Grill whose Cuban sandwich makes a filling and just delicious lunch! Guests on their way to or from Exeter and the south, or maybe just walking at one of the plantations of Eggesford forest, should definitely schedule a stop here and watch the trains go by.

This is a great location for dinner if you don’t mind a trip out into the North Devon Countryside to get to it from us. It’s about 45mins. Lovely food, and super friendly and helpful staff. The Farmers Arms Woolsery

One day we will stop posting pictures of cakes but TBH it’s impossible to ignore these!! The Fremington Quay Cafe on the Tarka Trail not only has lovely views of the Taw estuary but O the gorgeous food too 😍

It’s 10 years today that we moved into Little Silver and started our North Devon adventure. And what an adventure it’s been! Since moving in (during a mini hurricane) we’ve created Little Silver Nugget a multi award winning holiday accommodation, and built a successful business which incorporates multiple shepherds huts, and we now enjoy welcoming guests back year after year. We have expanded recently to also include petite weddings. We’ve had two beautiful children who have made us a family, and two furry children who keep us on our toes. We’ve met amazing people and created lovely friendships. What a ride!!! We are looking forward to the next chapter. Thanks to you all for your support. We couldn’t do it without you. Thankfully no mini hurricanes today, just lots of snow. Sending you greetings from Lapland.

A reminder to our guests that the Old Farmhouse is absolutely worth a visit when they reopen in February - always delicious home cooked food that locals would rather I keep a secret!!
