CAD Technician (Maternity Cover) – Opportunity in Ingatestone, Essex
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team on a maternity cover contract, expected to last approximately six months to a year.
There may be potential for this role to become a permanent position upon completion of the maternity contract.

Fowler Martin is a dynamic Building Services Design Practice located in Ingatestone, Essex. We pride ourselves on our strong portfolio of reliable clients and diverse range of exciting projects. Our core focus is on designing building services for various sectors, including universities, schools, research laboratories, commercial offices, hospitals, and local authorities.
Key responsibilities:
Produce and modify 2D MEP Design Drawings using AutoCAD LT.
Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
Maintain Fowler Martin’s high-quality drawing standards.
Prioritise workload using our existing CAD tracking system (MS Excel).
Requirements:
Strong experience in AutoCAD LT is essential.
Previous experience working within a mechanical and electrical design practice is a plus.
Relevant qualifications would be a plus.
Our benefits:
Competitive salary in the range of £22K - £28K per year (depending on experience)
