July was our first full month in the holiday let business, we’ve been busy! Been a steep learning curve understanding the booking calendar , building up reviews and increasing our rankings on Air BB and Booking Com .
our guests have beeen great , leaving the Nicky Nook clean and tidy on departure , we appreciate it.
One couple got engaged whilst staying at The Nicky Nook , proposing on The Waterfall Trail, congratulations to you both .

The Nicky Nook is the perfect hideaway in a beautiful village 🥰. Highly recommend the waterfalls walks which is on your doorstep 🌊. The house is spacious and has everything you need, we particularly appreciated the milk in the fridge and the snacks on the side! 🍿 Hosts left us to it which is our preference but were available if needed - could not recommend - we will definitely be back!

Hi all, Craig and Jeanie here, and we are super excited to be running the Craven Heifer. We re-opened our doors last Friday and have already met so many of you but thought we would introduce ourselves online.

We both can’t wait to get stuck into running the pub and making it a hub for the community to drink great beer and eat delicious food.

Our brand new food offer launches this Friday and will offer a variety of traditional pub classics, from fish and chips battered in Thwaites ale to homemade pies.

A wonderful review from our first guest !

I stayed at Nick Nook last weekend. A wonderful wee house!

You enter through the owners lovely garden. Once through your own gate to the property you see how private the place is. There are lovely landscaped and planted sunny gardens with various seating areas and tables.

The building itself is rennovated using the old stone which compliments the new windows and doors.

Inside there is a utility room which is handy to store muddy boots and coats. The double bedroom is a good size with a lovely overhead roof window, it's even got a remote controlled blind! The bed can be double or 2 singles. The en-suite is superb, quite spacious with a large shower!
The living area is very roomy with a stylish kitchen and furnishings looking out onto the lovely garden!

Parking is limited in the narrow streets but once unloaded there is a parking permit for the main car park nearby

There are so many walks in the area, some from the door, such as Ingleborough and a good pub up the hill, The Wheatsheaf, which does great food. We loved the little bar next door too, the OPO. There's a few eateries, a pizza takeaway and a small co-op nearby too.

Tony and Anna are really friendly and full of advice on the area if you need it
