Keswick is a bit into fitness and likes to set little inspirational challenges such as ‘s Walla Dash. So late this afternoon, accompanied by friend (as you have to chat all the way) we had a gentle run up Walla Crag, took the selfie, for proof, and then rumbled back down to The Round for a free pint & a free pint glass. It was well deserved 🍻 but it was a glorious late afternoon/early evening for it.
Walla Crag is a gorgeous Wainwright, easily walkable with no terribly steep inclines & with some beautiful views.

Our gorgeous, long awaited sofas arrived for Redwood Rise today. 😍 They are ecru in colour but somehow much lighter than anticipated. 😱🤯
Should we plastic wrap them now? Please can we only have non-spilly guests 🙏

"Exactly as advertised and a lovely location. Keswick was an easy 15 minute walk to all the shops and attractions... The accommodation was a perfect location for a 16km loop walk up Skiddaw (via Latrigg and Carl Side) so no fighting for mountainside parking. Kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was lovely, warm and had a powerful shower. Would visit again next time we're in the Lake District."
