The Keswick parkrun is almost on our doorstep at Keswick Bridge as the route used is the Railway line footpath. The run is every Sunday starting at the Old Station at 9am, To Register (for free) to join visit their website - https://www.parkrun.org.uk/keswick/

It’s the beginning of national Archaeology week.

English Heritage Keswick Museum

The annual Festival of Archaeology 2024 runs from 13th to 28th July.

Join us, in partnership with English Heritage at Castlerigg Stone Circle on Saturday 13 July where we will be there to show you our Neolithic handling collection (mostly the Langdale axes) from 11.30am to 2.30pm.

There are also free talks about the circle and the people who built it by English Heritage volunteer guides at 12 noon, 1pm and 2 pm

⭐🔭 🌖Tonight! Keswick Lighting Switch Off is from 8pm. Not sure if we'll have cloud or not - but here's hoping! 🤞

Street lights in the Lake Road area will be going off from 8pm, and we're encouraging residents and businesses to switch off their lights too to save energy and see more stars.

Cumberland Councils’ lighting team is managing the switch off of 60 road and streetlights along The Heads, The Headlands and Elliot Park. Also joining in is BoothsCountry, Keswick Mountain Rescue Team and Theatre by the Lake, who will be turning their outside lighting off. Part of our Cumbria Dark Skies project, National Trust - North & West Lake District
