Part 2 of What to do around our Lakes lets.
Rydal - with a whole host of different things on offer from a walk around the gardens at Wordsworth’s historic home, to a venture into the caves - if you dare!, to the hidden waterfall at the great Rydal Hall. ⛲️🌷🌿🌻🍁

You could easily spend an entire day there and more!

There’s also the interesting choice of walking from Ambleside along the old coffin trail that will bring you to Rydal Hall! What a lovely family walk (don’t forget the doggy!) with the added bonus of dogs being allowed in the grounds, gardens and coffee shop, what more could you want?! 🥾🦮🐾

Lake Windermere: the largest natural lake in England! ⛰

Well our properties are spread out over 2 prime locations around Lake Windermere: Bowness-on-Windermere and Ambleside, the perfect lakeside towns. As you can see from the map you can find 2 places to stay in each location. Both offering a cosy 2 person cottage and a place for a bigger group of friends and family.

Silverhowe, Bowness refurbishments completed ✅

With the hard work of and the apartment has a whole new look! With bespoke scaffolding headboards in the main bedroom, a handmade tv unit in the lounge and a freshly upholstered suite to name but a few changes, we couldn’t be happier with the new industrial-style feel to our apartment.
