A beautiful display at the Harvest Service at Tottlebank Baptist Church this morning. 'A Haven of Peace in the Hills', this church dates back to the 1669, and has regular Sunday services. Pop in for a look on a walk through the fields from Spark Bridge.

With our Friday changeover day, it means you can arrive and get settled in on Friday evening. After a good night's sleep, you can then enjoy a leisurely Saturday morning breakfast in the cottage before heading out to explore the Lake District.

Of course the Lake District is famous for it's lakes (and hills) but there are also lots of beautiful rivers. The River Crake starts at the South end of Lake Coniston and runs through Spark Bridge, popular with kayakers. There's a beautiful view of this bridge from the front of the cottage. You can pop over for a picnic, skim stones or even dip your toes in the water!
