I acquired my vocational skills as a life coach and dispute resolver through my experiences of working with some of the most vulnerable and ‘stuck’ individuals in society. Following 20 years in a variety of local authority social work and criminal justice settings, I came to the conclusion that many of our social and personal issues can be amended with improved communication. I made the decision t
o refine my understanding of communication, conflict, ‘others’ and ‘us’ by embarking on an academic journey of discovery. Six years of full time study has furnished me with a first-class honours degree and Masters degree with Distinction, in Mediation and Conflict Resolution. Now expert in my field, my work achievements, personal life experiences and academic studies have positioned me to be able to share what I have learned with you. I am qualified, accredited, insured and registered. As a mediator, I specialise in inter-personal disputes such as family matters including elder issues, parenting plans, tenancy disputes, education and small business matters. As a coach, I work with individuals or couples who are generally ‘stuck’ in life. I listen to my clients and help them to clarify their life purpose, communicate their dreams, desires and goals and empower them to take action and steer themselves forward in the direction they choose.
