DADS HANDMADE WOODEN NATIVITY CRIB .... He's made with wood grown in his own wood he planted some 20 plus years ago!
With thanks to grandchildren Frank & George for dressing the 3 kings too! ... mum for knowing how to dress wooden shepherds with tea towels grandaughter heath for loan of 'baby jesus' again .... and our old neighbours for many years Graham and Eric for helping get it there!

FOR St Matthews Church Meerbrook Crib Festival
With over 30 Nativity sets on display, some over 40 years old , some collected from countries around the world..... and then some .... grown and made local!!!

The Church will be open from 11am to 3pm on Saturday, with a service at 11.15 Sunday morning then remaining open until 3pm on Sunday.
Refreshments will be available in church too.

A very unique and special place to visit during your stsy with us.

Between mid-August and November 2023 Gladstone Pottery Museum will be closed to the general public on additional days to facilitate an external project taking place at the site.

A range of events will be run over the Summer and Autumn at both Gladstone Pottery Museum and The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery that local residents, families and visitors to the city can enjoy.

Following the hugely successful Dinosaur event, which took place on 11 August, the events programme at Gladstone will include a special Halloween event, Ceramic Makers’ Market and Christmas themed family Narnia day. On Friday 8 September the museum will offer free entry to the public to celebrate Heritage Open Days.

New car! ... sound on!!

🌟 🚗 NEW CAR! 💯 🌟 FANTASTIC SERVICE 🌟 🚗 😊 Thank you so much to you all, incredibly helpful, friendly, professional from a family owned local business Burns Garages LTD - Subaru Dealership at Congleton When we had a 'little' problem with our car last week (like hitting a little pot hole & then could longer go on the road!!!!!!).... We didnt know what to get! ... you all know what that's like ....couldn't face having to go round all the garages etc, facing sales men etc etc.... didnt have time either. With Kathryn breaking her arm, the weather going wet and bad, needing to bring sheep in, sort into groups, pre lambing vaccinations needed ... oh ... & this HUGE storm coming in .... oh & snow forecast! .... & we'd got no vehicle!!! it wasnt good timing... nightmare! We had been recommended to look at Subaru cars We rang @ian burns kindly offered & came and picked Ray and Barbara up (because we had got no vehicle to get anywhere!!!) .... & guess what they were now a Subaru UK garage as well! Robert Burns, his son now runs the garage... brilliant bloke, really helpful, no sales pushy chat etc, Got in just the vehicle we needed ⭐️ 4 wheel drive ... so can do snow and field mud!... a good work horse! ⭐️ Big enough ... but not SO big so it doesnt look like a tank! .... and Barbara can get in a car parking space! ⭐️ Tall enough and with leather seats do Ray can get in and out easily. ⭐️ Comfy, with space inside, lovely interior, for when we go off for a little day trip out! ⭐️ plenty of space in the boot! ⭐️ Efficient! Reliable! Etc etc etc AND .... ABSOLUTELY 💯 FANTASTIC SERVICE AND CUSTOMER CARE from this local family owned garage! Stunning February Friday night sunset! Birds singing their little heads off

Its been a difficult day ... a difficult week After 5 weeks ...My arm is out of plaster (thats good)... but .. but oh boy! ... its still bent, painful, i can hardly move it!!!!! I wasnt expecting that! We are 4 just weeks off lambing, 100 sheep due to be vaccinated and sorted this weekend ... and i can hardly get dressed or hold even a pen never mind a vaccination applicator! And im still struggling to just walk ... some even still need scanning! And i cant sort them out for the scanning man, On top of that the ME is getting worse after all the hospital visits etc etc etc etc .... and that's dreadful I feel .. i dont know ... just at a loss .. trying not to panic ... but .... So i struggle to get out at least once a day .... i cant loose everything ive tried to do over the years to get a tad better to where im at now And then the birds sang so loudly over my head ... and the sunset beautifully.. i mean just look at that ... and tomorrow is another day Enjoy your Friday night ....
