Anyone who enjoys an occasional jolt of adrenaline will be pleased to know that the magnificent ⭐ Roaches Hall ⭐ is a short, 10-minute drive from the Madrenaline Activity Centre. 😁

Madrenaline offers a wide selection of activities, from segway tours to axe throwing 🪓, and caters to all sorts of groups.

The activity centre is perfect for birthday parties, hen or stag dos, or teambuilding events. 🤗 Additionally, many activities can be brought to you at Roaches Hall, so there's no need to leave the house 😉

Today, we have a fun historical fact for you about the lovely 🎩 Roaches Hall 🎩

Anyone who has seen so much as a picture of Roaches Hall is aware of the incredible natural beauty that surrounds it 🏞🌿

But did you know that around the 1930's, the roof was removed! 😱 Apparently, this was so that its resident, Courtney Brocklehurst, could sit on the roof and have better views of the private zoo 🦘 that had been established there! 🥳🤩

These days, the roof is no longer accessible for safety reasons, but this remains a quirky and interesting party of the history of this house 😊

Have you ever heard of a building so magnificent that its own architect waited roughly 20 years to buy it? Well, now you have 🤩.

Dating back to the 1870's, the stunning Roaches Hall was bought by its architect, John Hall, in 1899... 23 years after its construction! 😱😁

Thanks to its many centuries of existence, Roaches Hall is layered with a fascinating history that is still visible around the house today. 🌱

While there are many large caves with guided tours, there are also plenty of smaller ones that could be equally interesting for those who prefer to explore independently. 🤗

Of the many spaces to explore, Thor's cave, Dove Holes Cave, and Wolfscote Dale Cave are three examples, all of which are no more than 30 minutes drive 🚗 from the magnificent Roaches Hall ⛰.

With hundreds of years of rich and fascinating history, Roaches Hall is truly something special ☺️.
Tracing back to 1876, this incredible Hall was bought by its architect, John Hall, in 1899 🤗.

Through its years, Roaches Hall has been home to many individuals and even served as an outpost for the London Zoo from 1936, hosting red-necked wallabies, lamas and yaks 🦙.

While it no longer serves as an outpost for the London Zoo, Roaches Hall has evolved over the years, maintaining its original features without compromising on modern comforts 🥂😌.
