🎶 Our grounds are currently getting ready as we host our series of star-studded shows, Live at Lincoln Castle.

☀️ If you are planning to visit us during the daytime, we are still open and looking forward to welcoming you! Get ready to explore the Victorian Prison and enjoy epic views across Lincoln from the Medieval Wall Walk. And although the Magna Carta is temporarily off display, we are thrilled to showcase alternative treasures that celebrate our rich heritage.

🐉 Don‘t forget to say hello to our resident dragons and why not stop and enjoy some light refreshments in our cafe.

❗️Please note, the Medieval Wall Walk lift remains closed. And as we transform the grounds into a music venue, we expect tomorrow (Friday 21 June 2024) to be busy with set up activity. On Saturday 22 June 2024, set up will continue and there may be sound checks taking place during our daytime opening hours.

🌙 If you are visiting us Saturday evening, we hope you have an amazing time and enjoy the show!

High Bridge ☕

Situated in the heart of Lincoln's High Street, this medieval bridge dates back to 1160AD.

Interestingly, it is thought to be one of only three bridges in England to still have multi-storied buildings on it; the others being Pulteney Bridge in Bath and Frome Bridge in Somerset.

As the building itself is now home to Stokes Coffee, you are welcome to have a look inside - and enjoy the view with a delicious brew!
