General information
Cwmcroiddur nestles in a small south-facing valley, with woodland on one side and open hillside on the other. To the south, there’s an amazing panorama across rolling farmland to the peaks of the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountain. Behind the buildings, the land rises to reveal miles of wild, open country. If it’s walking, mountain biking, bird watching or just taking in the view you’re looking for, then this is the place for you.

Our Story
Andy, Karen and Lulu, one of our three cats.
Cwmcroiddur is our home. It also has two lovely self-catering holiday properties. We came to live here because it was wild, beautiful and peaceful. We’ve found it to be a warm and friendly place to live, with plenty to do. You might want to take the kids to the beach, head off for a unique small-town shopping experience, sample the terrific local food, exhaust yourselves on the nearby mountain bike trail, or settle down for a pint in the pub. One thing’s certain, you won’t be bored!
Clear Water Barn sleeps five people and Clear Water Cottage sleeps four. There’s plenty of room for everyone as the buildings are in the middle of spacious grounds and we make sure to respect your privacy. There’s an enclosed field for your dog to let off steam, and you can walk or cycle out onto the Cambrian mountains. We’re less than a mile from the picture-postcard Carmarthenshire village of Cilycwm, with its terrific pub, The Neuadd Arms. Both are available to rent for holidays and short breaks. Together, they make a great place for a gathering of family and friends.
