Just two more bits to cut and a few bundles to drag round the back and the willow has been coppiced right down to allow light for the fruit and veg. A phyical job ticked off this years list of jobs 😜

Looking to change a few of the fruit trees in the orchard that have stopped producing. So far ive ordered a bareroot Apple "Braeburn" Pear "Conference" and Plum "Victoria". Need another 4 or 5 😁

Thought I'd share the view of our stream as I returned home this evening. As you can see it's full and fast, but fortunately flowing past our piece of paradise.

Our latest guests are settled in and cosy this weekend with the log burner keeping them cosy.

Its raining again so a quite afternoon.

Ive raided the apple trees to make some juice and taken some to the village sharing hut 🍎

Gordon has returned home 😍 after a 3 year adventure 🥳🎉

When we first moved to Tancastell in 2017 we arrived with five gorgeous little kittens to help us on our small holding.
Gordon was the only boy and his sisters were certainly in charge.

In 2020 he sadly disappeared, we looked for him and asked around but couldn't find him.

This summer he has come home, a little timid and hungry but its so amazing to have him home after his 3 year adventure.

As you can see his fur is a lot lighter, which can happen when they live outside and on a restricted diet....now home he's loving his regular meals.

We took the most amazing steam train ride to Devils Bridge.
Here's a few pics of our journey. Highly recommended for a day out if you're staying with us for a while.
