He'll be up against top young chefs from places like The Savoy, the House of Commons and The Dorchester.

Aberaeron is currently undergoing extensive flood defence work around the harbour. Huge rocks are arriving by ship from Norway and being thrown overboard to be carefully placed to defend the town.
We thought we'd share a few recent images, but also show other local beaches and attractions waiting to be discovered.

We took on the wild weather to walk the coastal path from Aberaeron to Aberarth. The sea was a little rough, but as you can see the clouds cleared and we remained dry. Its a lovely 3mile return trip. Aberarth is a small historic village worth a walk around which has a lovely large beach to the north often chosen by local sea swimmers.....
Then back to the Coach House with a roaring log fire....perfect

We had a beautiful day hunting dolphins in New Quay (we saw two playing in the bay and one seal)
We then went back to Aberaeron for the best fish and chips on the harbour.

Calling all marine lovers....we've just seen this post from a boat company based in New Quay, just a short drive from The Old Coach House in Aberaeron

HOLD THE FRONT PAGE!

Today at approximately 14:15 on our boat trip, we saw a MASSIVE shark. This is a Thresher Shark, one of the most simply exquisite pieces of fish based engineering out there. With a tail as long as its body, this beast is not only huge, but absolutely gorgeous. We estimate that it was probably between 5/6m long.
