Horse riding through the Naiman Nur region of 8 lakes in Mongolia. Does it get any better than this?
On our final night after four days of horse riding the nomadic family who had been looking after us cooked us a farewell feast. We had roast lamb cooked with hot stones and Mongolia ‘vodka’ distilled from mare’s milk. Everyone sang a song and this rendition by ‘Baggi’ one of our horseman was one of the best. An evening not to be forgotten.
