A view for all seasons - Ludlow Castle at sunrise, surrounded by autumn colour. I took this picture while standing on Whitcliffe Common - my favourite vantage point - and watched as swirls of mist encircled the town. Stretching across the horizon is Brown Clee and its twin summits of Abdon Burf and Clee Burf, which are both crowned by Iron Age hill forts.
