Did you know Mrs Salisbury's of Maldon resides in the historic "Church House" built c.1770. Once occupied by Edward Bright - a grocer, salt manufacture and a political leader in Maldon. Church House was also home to Mrs Salisbury and her family until 2020 when the tea room, which was next door at the time, moved in as the business grew. When you step inside, you're not just a customer - you're a cherished guest in our home and family run business.

We love visiting Abberton Reservoir nature reserve which is just 10 mins from the cottage. There is so much for grown ups, but the Brambly Hedge Trail for little kiddies is 🌟.
