A bit late with the photos but what an amazing day we had on Saturday at Springhill Hospice's Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge 2023.

Well we had weather of all seasons on yesterdays Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge but no one let that stop them. We were extremely impressed by the sheer grit and determination shown by all participants. Well done to everyone raising money for two such amazing causes the Rossendale Hospice and Dr. Kershaw's Hospice.

Great advice from Mountain Rescue England and Wales.

What would MR do?
First post in a series of winter precautions and preparations that are second nature for mountain rescue volunteers.

Always take a flask (or two) of hot drink with you. Two small flasks will keep drink warmer than one big one and little and often works for snacks and food too.
